The Talmo Library is located at City Hall, 45 AJ Irvin Rd. Its goal is to provide the citizens of Talmo a wide variety of media resources including books, videos, CDs and Internet access. Library cards can be obtained by completing an application and returning it to Library Manager, Joy Ross. Your first card is free, but replacement cards are $2.00.
New operating hours are coming this Fall for the Talmo Library! The new hours will take effect on
Tuesday, September 8th as follows:
- Monday: closed
- Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30p.m.
- Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sunday: closed

INTERNET ACCESS POLICY
If you are under 16 a parental permission form will be required. Your parents will need to come to the library to sign the form. All visitors who want to use Internet access computers are required to enter their names on a sign-in sheet. TALMO NOW HAS Wi-Fi ! (Wireless internet)
BOOKS FOR SALE
The Library has used books for sale and a limited selection of books that are free. Hard back books are $1.00 and paper back books are $.50.
CHECK OUT POLICY
CDs can be checked out, but only one at a time. All checkouts have a two week time limit. However, you are allowed to renew your checkouts. You can call or visit the library to renew, but you'll need to have your library card available.
ONLINE ACCESS TO THE LIBRARY CATALOG SYSTEM
When you receive your library card you will also receive a PIN number (personal identification number) The PIN number enables you to access the online Pines Catalog via:
http://gapines.org. This system is also accessible from any Internet access computer.
